Do your Hunter Rain Boots get a white film on them?
I hate the way this looks! How do you prevent this/get rid of it?

yes! I really haven't tried to clean them that thoroughly, but I do wonder how you get it off?
eta: I just read on a help forum to use olive oil to clean them...

Re: Do your Hunter Rain Boots get a white film on them?
Blooming Definition
Every Hunter wellington boot is made from 100% natural ingredients and small amounts of wax are included in the rubber compound during the vulcanisation process that is used to make each pair. When exposed to certain environmental factors, this wax can "bloom" to the surface and appear as white or blue marks. This is a completely natural process and the imperfection is only cosmetic. The boots remain 100% waterproof.

Did you try this? Did it work? Just tried to use a cloth and some water didn't work at all!
