Do your toddlers watch any oldies that you grew up with ?
My dad got all the cousins hooked on watching Tom&Jerry and they LOOVE it.
My hubby thinks its SOOO COOL to relive his childhood through his boys, he's in heaven sitting on the floor with them...
So far theyre quite familiar with Looney Tunes Brady Bunch Star Wars Superman (the original) very briefly the 3 stooges, we didnt think that was the greatest infuence PeeWee Herman (I think its annoying that they love it so much but they ADORE this goof ) and mommy's favorites Willy Wonka Mary Poppins Pinocchio (have the original Italian version too)
cant think of anymore. anyone else's hubby doing this ?

My 4.5 year old absolutely LOVES: Tom & Jerry Looney Tunes Scooby Doo Smurfs
Basically, whatever is on Boomerang.
I always have to preface these shows with, "ARe these guys behaving nicely?" to which my son always replies, "No mommy. They are not being nice to each other. But that's what they do in these old cartoons." He is so right. They are so violent. But we all grew up ok (well, pretty much), right?

All of the time.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Mary Poppins Lady & the Tramp Herbie the Love Bug Lassie Abbott & Costello The Wizard of Oz Willy Wonka & Chocolate Factory
Willy Wonka is the most handy one. When Joseph was 2-1/2, he said "Mommy that girl isn't using manners. She didn't say please or thank you" So now when we go to the store, he says "Mom can I have a Spiderman" "Mom, I want a Batman." "Can I have a Spongebob?" I just smile & say "Of course, would you also like an Oompa Loompa too?". He usually will laugh and say "Ok, I'll remember it for my birthday."

Of course Emily watches Sesame Street and DH and I are rediscovering our love for it...
I'm hoping that she ends up loving Mary Poppins (one of my favo movies of all time!), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and DH already has her watching School House Rock even though I keep telling him that she doesn't like it!!!!
