Do your twins feel each others pain?
My girls will alway get upset if the other one is sick or upset about something.
Like they hate when I cut their finger nails. So lets say I am cutting A's then B will beg me to stop.
Yesterday A had an upset stomach (prob all the treats she had at school) B was running and hiding in a fetal position.
Does anyone else have this experience with their twins?

My girls also always know what the other one is doing. Even when they are not together. Maybe b/c they are identical.

I dont think so, but if one cries, the other could be happily playing and will just let out a cry like " Should I be crying too" ...We laugh about it.

same here. This happens a lot with coughing here. If one coughs and I give her attention, the other will cough.

Here too! Coughing, crying, laughing etc. They always seem to notice what the other is doing

Re: Do your twins feel each others pain?
i stalk this board, sorry im not a twin mommy but a twin ...
we always got this question growing up. though we dont "feel each others pain" we can 100% sense when something isnt right. i cant help but feel her emotions with her, if she is happy, sad, angry etc.
it is very VERY painful to see her sad or angry id say im almost as sad or angry as she is, when she is if you KWIM.
your kids will have a bond that singletons will never know - its awesome

same here. If Matthew is crying, Christopher will pretend cry. I felt bad yesterday...I yelled at Matthew and made him cry, and then Chritsopher REALLy cried....i felt HORRIBLE

I know I am jealous of their bond sometimes
I totally agree that they sense when something is not right.
This summer I was swimming in the ocean with one of my twin daughters. The water was really rough. We both kept getting knocked down. Meanwhile her sister was up at our cabana which is about 1/2 mile from where we were running in circles telling my dh to check on us. It was just so unbelievable that she knew.

I am a twin also and could not agree more. We also finish eachothers sentences, say things at the same time or even text the same thing within seconds. You cant truly understand what its like to be a twin unless you are one. The same way I dont know what its like to have a younger or older siblin or be an only child. Being a twin is almost indescribable but your children will have the greatest bond in the world.

exactly. people always ask us "what is it like to be a twin"... well, what is it like to be a singleton? we dont know any different, we have always been us, we have always had each other. its totally the "norm" for us.
