do yout hink this dress is to mature

for a 15 month old

I e-mailed the picture to my SIL and she said

"THE DRESS IS CUTE, BUT I THINK IT'S TO GROWN UP FOR HER AND IT
LOOKS TO MUCH LIKE MRS. CLAUSE"

it just annoyed me

I think it is adorble. Pair it with some white tights and black patent leather shoes and she will be so cute!

Yeah that can be annoying. But you will put her in her place when she see's how beautuful your daughter looks in the dress. Also isnt that the whole point of a Mrs. Clause dress its Christmas time!! Just ignor her! Chat Icon

Re: do yout hink this dress is to mature

Isn't that what SILs are supposed to do? Drive you crazy?

Personally I think it is adorable. It's similar to the one Emily wore today for her pictures but I think the shawl adds some "class" to it.

Why dress them up in fancy clothes if not to make them look like miniature grown-ups anyway, right?

And if all the little boys can wear Santa Suits -- then I say the girls should be allowed to wear Mrs. Claus suits!!!

It's a great choice!

Re: do yout hink this dress is to mature

I dont know if I'd call it too mature - just that an older girl, even another year older would be all into posing and showing off in it. A 15 month old (mine anyway) may be yanking the shoulder cover off. Cute though.

ETA: I dont get the Mrs Claus part though, how can a 15 year old look like Mrs Claus, thats not the first red dress with white fur trim Ive seen for a little girl

marissa is pretty good with keeping things on and i just thought it was adorable.

i guess since its red and has the white around the edges it would be something that mrs clause would wear

I actually seen the one that you have for emily online as well and almost bought it but them seen this one and fell in love with it. also if it was ment for more mature and older girls then why would the biggest size be 18 - 24 months which is the size that marissa is she is very tall and 12 months are too short on her so there is nothing I can do about that so if I have to go for something that is more maure then be it. I think she jsut doesn't want my daughter to look cuter then her other god daughter but too bad

ETA: yes I think inlaws were invented to drive us nuts why can't we jsut marry the guy and leave the family behind lol lol lol or at least the annoying ones lol lol lol
