Doctor visit today
So I told him that I've been feeling tightness/pressure/light cramping... not a lot and mostly in the AM. As a precaution, he is putting me on procardia which is a medicine that is usually prescribed to lower blood pressure. I've looked it up online and saw that it is used to prevent early labor/contractions. I don't love that he has me on this now but it is a low dose and the alternative (going into early labor)... I just don't want to think about it.
Does anyone else take this or something similar? TIA

Thanks! I am 25 weeks this week. I totallly trust my doctor and know he knows what he is doing. I am just so no a "medicine person" so between the aspirin every day, the progesterone injections once a week and now this I'm freaking out!!!

I am on terbutaline every 6 hrs due to some contractions. I know its tough cause we hear no medicine during pregnancy but lots of women have taken it and have prevented early labor. hang in there.
