DOE contingency days
I know that on Long Island there are storm contingency days built into the calendar.
Since we are going to lose 2 days this week (maybe more) and we aren't even in winter yet, if there are a lot of storm days can the DOE call contingency days? (cancel president's week, extend school year, etc.)

I've never seen it happen..I think it is because we have way more than 180 days usually and surrounding districts ONLY budget those days and give the rest as vacay

we've never had to make up days. we work 185 days i believe.
