Re: does a 2 year old need a ticket to a met game?
We took my son to a game last year and made sure he had a ticket so that he could have a seat. I am not sure, he/she might have to sit on your lap the whole time.
ETA: I found this info on the website:
At what age does a child require a ticket? Any child that reaches the height of the turnstile is required to have a game day ticket to gain admittance to Shea Stadium. The height of the turnstile is 32 inches.

Thankyou. I plan to have her sit on our laps but not sure what to do now.

I wouldn't worry about getting a ticket.
A 2 year old isn't going to sit in a seat & watch a game for very long.
I would get 2 tickets & be prepared to walk around the stadium with her.
