Does a sweater dress work for a curvy girl? updated with pic and question
I'm 5'4 and still have a "roll" in my belly and full hips/thighs/butt since having children. I'm a size 10/12 depending on the cut.
Could I pull off a sweater dress? I don't want a clingy one. Are there any that are flowy?

Thanks everyone! I finally went and tried one on. I found this exact one in the store and it looked nice on (charcoal.)
I'm going to wear it to my DH's company holiday party. The dress there is all over the place - from suits to the little black dress to pants and tanks to very trendy things. Do you think I should go with the black tights and high black boots? or is there something I can do to dress it up.

Yes you could totally pull it off! I am super tiny at my waist, but my hips/butt are far from super tiny, and I wear sweater dresses all the time! I wear them with leggings and flat boots. They are pricey, but you could check the Loft, they have a couple of good ones there and it's 40% off everything right now!

Definitely. And I would add a wide belt as an accessory to enhance the waist area

That dress is adorable!! I think it would really cute with tights or leggings and black boots. I LOVE IT!!
