Does anybody have a good cornbread recipe?
We're having a chili cookoff on Friday, and I volunteered to make cornbread. There's a winner for the best cornbread too, so I've been trying to find a recipe for something other than standard or sweet cornbread, but all the recipes that I've found online involve creamed corn, which sounds gross to me.
Anyone have any ideas?

Actually the one I have has creamed corn in it and you wouldn't believe how good it is.
Cornbread Casserole
1 box of Jiffy corn mix
1 can corn
2 eggs
1 can cream of corn
1 cup sour cream
1 stick of butter
Spray bottom of casserole dish with Pam. Mix all ingredients (add butter last). Cook for 1 hour at 350.

Really? I guess it just sounded weird to me (although I love creamed corn!).
Maybe I'll give it a shot, and throw some chilies in it too.
