Re: Does anyone a 2006 Murano or 2006 Jeep Cherokee??
I don't have either - but we have been looking at both. Both have alot to offer - but I think we are leaning more towards a Jeep Cherokee. DH and I love Jeeps - we each have one. They are very reliable. DH also has a Nissan Altima that he is not happy with so I think that is keeping us away from the Murano. Plus we need extra space in the back (trunk) and the Cherokee has more.
Now we are just trying to find a good lease

Re: Does anyone a 2006 Murano or 2006 Jeep Cherokee??
fully loaded 06 murano...leather, heated seats, power seats, everything
we even have the power to turn on the car without the key (not remote start) we have memory keys so if the key is close to door or igination, we can open the doors and turn on the car wihtout taking it out
very happy with murano after 2 months. We considered this years jeeps for the 1st time as they are more "sporty" looking. past jeeps just didnt give me, woah, thats a great car but thats how they are made.
we were actually chooseing between Murano and the Tribecca. We went to the dealership and Nissan gave us an offer that was hard to refuse.

Take my advice and don't lease.
If you are looking at Jeep... BUY the car because they are currently offering 0% interest for 60 months!
This is a killer deal! The Jeep will also be much cheaper than the Murano.

I am not a real fan of Jeep, but I had a Wrangler so I don't know if you can compare the two. But I love the Murano. I was in my friend's...what a smooth comfortable ride

DH drives a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the Hemi engine (I don't believe there's a significant difference b/w the '05s and '06s.) DH loves it and I must admit, it's a nice ride and handles very well.
We got it fully loaded (Nav system, DVD system, free Sirius satellite for a yr) for $0 down, $480 a month for 39 months (I believe.)
The only downside is that the Hemi engine eats up a lot of gas.

DH haggled with a Jeep dealership in Great Neck and one in Hicksville. He ended up getting the best offer from Grand Prix in Hicksville.
Have you taken the Murano and Cherokee for test drives yet?

Any Jeep you buy without the Hemi engine you can pretty much get at dealer invoice cost.
There are great deals to be had on Jeeps right now... and with 0% financing... its a GREAT deal.

Ok.... then you should get a lease I suppose. I suggested financing because with a lease you will pay interest. With the financing... you don't pay any interest.

Well - Financing could be a better deal - I will talk it over with my DH. Thanks for your help!
