Does anyone DC's not like their milk cold?

I've tried doing this cuz all the know it alls out there(the IL's) keep telling me that it's summer and that I should give him the milk cold. Well I tried and he wouldn't drink it. Just sits there and plays with the nipple. So I warmed it up to room temperature to luke warm and he drank...I was wondering if anyone still warms up a bottle or am I the only misfit here...

eta...my son is 1

DS will take it anyway he can get it, btu he does prefer for me to take the chill out. I will usually microwave just the water for under 20 seconds and then mix in the formula. But again, he will take the bottle regardless, he just stall with a cold one is all.

DD is 15 months and only drinks milk when she wakes up and before bed and I still warm it...
It's fine, I am always home at this time so it's not a PITA for me.

Not at first when she was used to room temp formula. After awhile she was ok with it. Now at 15 mos she drinks cold milk.

My daughter is 2 1/2 and still has a warm milky cup in the morning and before bed.. it's a habit I shouldn't have started because now she won't drink it cold

She definitely prefers it room temp. She has a hard time with a cold bottle.

You are not aloneChat Icon

Gianna refuses milk cold too. I have to warm it up for her to drink it. She also won't drink her milk out of her sippy yet-only bottle.Chat Icon

Anything else she will take cold and out of her sippy or a straw.

When Baby Amelia comes in about a week, she's isn't getting anything warmed-cold and room temp for her!

Same for me except ds is 14 months. I put it in microwave for 20-25 seconds (8oz) and he will drink it that way.

I was worried about that so from the beginning I gave her room temp or cold milk. I think if you really want to you can try warming it less and less until he gradually becomes used to the colder temperature. But I don't think just because it's summer he has to drink it cold. Does he drink his water cold?

Oh, also a Chinese coworker once told me that cold drinks are bad for your stomach, and that she would warm milk in the microwave before she drank it.
