Does anyone do any freelance writing?
An opportunity recently fell into my lap to do some freelance writing. Now that I'm getting in to it, I'm interested in finding more work in addition to my current assignments.
How do you find work? How much do you figure out how to charge? Do you keep a portfolio?

Make contact with local creative agencies - they usually are tapped first by most companies.
There is a firm in California that hires people around the country - High Tech Connect. You should reach out. If you're a talented writer this could be a great fit.
