Does anyone do per diem Consulting?
I need some advice on how to approach a new job offer...
what is the "going" rate?
what is included in your pay?
do you have a formal agreement?
etc...?

I do. Depends on your type of industry as far as rate goes. Yes...I always have a written contract when working with a client. Right now I have 2 clients that I'm working on, and a few that I'm trying to strike deals with.
