I have been doing Union payroll for the past 6-7 years and depending on how payroll is processed, inhouse or out sourced, depends on the amount of front side work required.
For the company that I work for I have built excel spreadsheets for the union reporting which do all of the work for me.
I currently pay 7-9 unions depending on where we are working in the country.
The only really tricky part is taxable wages, vacation pay taxability.
