Does anyone drink their coffee black?
I'm cutting out artificial sweeteners for now and I'm hesitant to use sugar because I'm still at 1200 calories a day. This morning I am just using unsweetened almond milk in my coffee and... it's not bad. Not great, but not terrible like I thought it would be. I did add about 1/2 cup of milk though 
Can I train myself to drink coffee black and actually like it?

Does anyone drink their coffee black?
I drink mine with milk and no sugar.
If I drink it black, I do add a bit of sugar.
One teaspoon of sugar has only 16 calories - a teaspoon of artificial sweetner has zero, but it's all chemicals and makes you crave more sweet.
I'd rather take the 16 calories of the real stuff.

I drink it black, and I actually really like it like that! I'm not sure if that's super helpful, but maybe it'll offer some hope

Coffee-mate makes natural bliss which is all natural, 1 tablespoon has 35 calories and 1.5 gram fat...its prob less calories than almond milk bc you dont have to use that much

you could probably train yourself gradually. add less and less milk/sugar as the days go on.
when my grandma was introducing coffee to my stepmom in college, she told her to drink it black because it will make her life much easier

You can definitely wean off (or lessen) sugar. I use 1.5 teaspoons of sugar which is only 25 calories and 2 TBSP of silk vanilla soy which is only 9 calories.

i drink my coffee black, I prefer it that way now. But I don't drink it for the taste, I work the overnight shift 11p-7a and drink it strictly for the effect

I'm sure you could train yourself. I trained myself to like plain seltzer  my pops drinks it black, but its just too bitter for me. I drink coffee maybe once ever couple of months, so I want it to taste good.

I've never drunk coffee or tea with sugar. It's always been too sweet for me. That said, I do think you can train yourself. I got away from corn syrup when I moved. Now when I go home for a visit, I can't stand it it's too sweet for me. I am not sure if that's a good comparison, lol.

I always wonder WHY I don't like coffee black because I can stand in the coffee aisle at the grocery store for hours, love that smell. I'm trying though. I've found that I don't mind it with no sugar and a decent amount of almond milk but it's got to be hot and not cold. I'm going to decrease the amounts gradually... I do not think I could survive my DC's childhoods without coffee

No. I tried once because I wanted to see if it was still hot and it was the most bitter, most disgusting tasting thing in the whole wide world.
I use splenda and half and half.
What about the sugar free creamers? I'd use those over nothing any day.
