Does anyone else find that friends/co-workers...
always have something to say about what you're eating or drinking? It happens pretty often at work, and I am so tired of it. In part I think it's because I don't have any close friends at work, and suddenly people who didn't really talk to me all that much suddenly have something to say.
Meanwhile, most of the time I'm having fruit or milk anyway, and even then people comment. Yesterday I had half a donut and a co-worker said, "Um, how often do you do that? That's really bad for you."

I would love to tell her," how often do you comment on what other's are eating? That could be REALLY bad for YOU!"

Re: Does anyone else find that friends/co-workers...
all the time! do these people think I enjoyed calling pudding lunch?
I use to sneak food and avoid elevators.
The other day I was at subway, getting DH a sandwich. I said salt and pepper please...well...a whole speech from the sandwich artist and the lady behind me about my salt intake

That is totally none of their business! Those type of comments would realy piss me off. I really don't understand people sometimes. If you eat in a communal room such as a cafeteria or faculty room, I would try and eat your lunch in your office, cubicle, classroom, etc. Or, if you have the time to sometimes go out to lunch, I would do that. Sometimes it's worth the peace of mind.

YEs!!! I was eating Burger King in my office with my door barely open and one of my co-workers comes in and says "Your not eating that?" I almost killed him, I was like "Obviously I am !" I was so rude but I didn't care~!!! Don't mess with a pregnant lady and her food!!!! In all seriousness I would never say that to anyone regardless, it is just rude.

So far no one knows but DH (and the big mouths at work) but DH laughs at the cravings & says...well I guess the nugget wanted cheese. He thinks it is funny.
Tell people to shut the hell up & worry about themselves

Re: Does anyone else find that friends/co-workers...
The classic is..."should you be having that?"
My new response: "mind your own f-ing business."
Seriously. For over 9 months people have been commenting on EVERY SINGLE piece of food I put in my mouth.
Sorry, bad mood today
