Does anyone else hate "entertaining"?
I'm sorry, it's just not worth it to me...you prepare all week, spend hours slaving in the kitchen and then spend hours cleaning the dishes.
I never said I was domestic....but I would much rather actually enjoy my company at a restaurant than spend an entire week in my kitchen!

I so agree- I hosted Chirstmas last year- I worked my butt off
shopping, cooking, cleaning- it was all over so quick
I would rather go out anyday

I like entertaining- but I despise the amount of work. I don't mind it up to a point-- but then it just gets out of control and it's pretty thankless-- at least most of the time.
The trick is to not have too many people over.

I like throwing parties, where I can basically just buy stuff. I don't like dinner parties, or anything where I need to cook!

I think it's the 2 animals and the one in the belly but I am having one heck of a hard time getting off my A$$ the past 2 days. Where is my DH when I need him?

I feel exactly the same way!
Love entertaining- just drive myself nuts leading up to it.
SOOO much work and no matter how far in advance you plan, you always seme to be running around at the last minute.
