Does anyone else have a problem with heels?
I used to live in heels. Could walk miles in most pairs. Then I got PG with DS... said bye bye to my heels for 9 months except if we had a special occasion. Same goes for when he was a newborn - toddler.. I am a SAHM and it was just easier to run around with him in sneakers.
Now I have such a hard time wearing heels.. my feet KILL after a short period of time and I can't even wear heels to places where I will be walking around a lot - like the mall. Does anyone else have this problem? How can I "fix" it? Just keep wearing them until I can't take it anymore?

Re: Does anyone else have a problem with heels?
i have issues wearing heels. i developed nerve damage (a neruoma) in the ball of my right foot from walking around in heels. so, needless to say, i wear flats and if i do wear heels (low heels), they are aerosoles or easy spirits...

The same thing happened to me when I had DD - I've given up wearing heels to do everyday things - I don't even wear them to work anymore... If anyone has a magical solution, I'd love to know what it is.

I made it a point to wear heels while I was pregnant.
And now that I have DD, DH makes it a point for me to wear heels (whether he takes me out to a restaurant or "other". )

I can wear high heeled boots or sandals but for some reason I can't wear pumps. I am always uncomfortable.

Re: Does anyone else have a problem with heels?
I do! I just don't know how to deal with the pain so I usually wear flats or a low heel. I can wear high heel boots without a problem (usually) but pumps just kill me for one reason or another. And I can't wear slingbacks at all.

Re: Does anyone else have a problem with heels?
I don't have a problem walking in heels although I try not to wear them more than a few hours a day. I keep slippers in my office and some days by 3pm I kick the heels off and put my slippers on.

I love my flip flops. It's so hard to adjust to heels they kill my feet

I can't wear slingbacks at all! I usually stick to low kitten heels for work but will wear a higher heel if I am going out.
I know a lot of shoe repair places will stretch out shoes for you on one of those "foot forms"! Have you ever tried that?

Re: Does anyone else have a problem with heels?
only when I am walking in Manh. I always seem to get the heel stuck in a subway grate or in between the cement on the sidewalk

Re: Does anyone else have a problem with heels?
I used to live in heels also when I worked, and now that Im a SAHM I am so uncomfortable wearing heels when I go out, I think its because Im not used to wearing them, also bc my feet definately got bigger& wider since having kids. If I have to wear heels now I will buy them 1 1/2 sizes bigger...there's nothing WORSE than the pain from shoes that are too tight!

Same thing happened to me!! My foot grew 1/2 a size and got wider! None of my old heels fit anymore
