does anyone else have to work 4th of July?
Technically, my office is closed, but I'll be stuck having to work on Wednesday. I'm an attorney and I have a huge deadline coming up on Monday. I'll have to probably work every day until then. (I'm sitting around waiting for my work to come in so I can get started now)
I'm bummed b/c that was going to be my last day off before I take vacation for my wedding in August -- and now it's gone!
Luckily I didn't have anything planned, so it's just like me having a regular work week instead of a holiday.
Anyone else working the 4th?

Our office is closed but I will be home working on a project that has to be completed by Friday. Tuesday night though I want to treat like a Friday night and stay up later and watch a movie with DH or something.

Awww, thanks so much for asking! 
He's in very good spirits, joking around about it constantly (that's his way of dealing with things...)
It looks as if much of what we are doing for this deadline is going be electronic. This means 99.9% likely that I can work from hom Thursday and be in the hospital with my parents that morning. If not, I'll just come in late.
Seriously, though, thanks for asking. I appreciate you thinking of him. I hope Freddy is continuing to improve! If I could be half the sister you are!!

awww..you're sweet. Glad to hear your dad is doing well. Freddy is ready for the next step and soon he will either go to North Shore or St. Johnsland. I'm hoping for North Shore. He was in good spirits today and I brought him some homemade meatballs. I asked him what else he wnated me to make and he said anything that I make he will eat.
Glad you will be there. Having family support is a necessary part of recovery. He will be fine. I'll keep praying for him.
BTW-I don't have to work on the 4th! Sorry you do..but hey, that's why they pay you the big bucks!!
