Does anyone else just not look good in lip gloss??

I have tried it so many times and I just dont feel like I look good in it at all.

I am REALLY fair skinned and it just makes me look like a ghost..I always feel like I need a little color on my lips.

I also find almost all of them so sticky.

Any recommendations on any or how to apply it so it looks better?

I usually use a neutral lipliner on my lips and then put gloss on. It gives the gloss a little boost.

You are not alone, I don't think I look good in gloss either. I also really don't like the sticky texture

I found that glossy lipsticks look pretty. It's sort of a cross between the two because it's a shiny, glossy texture but not sticky.

The Clinique butter shine ones are good.

i used to use it all the time when i was younger. then at 22 i got braces put on for 3 years and didnt wear anything b/c it would always get on my brackets.

i never wore it again after they came off. if i do..its usually just a clear gloss.

and i hate when its windy and my hair blows right into it and sticks
