Christopher puts the tv remote up and can change the channels--on purpose.

He has done it two days in a row now, and on two differnt tvs.

Is this normal/odd/or is he just a tv addict?Chat Icon

Hmm, sounds a lot like Ava. I think they take baby classes on how to do these things while we're sleepingChat Icon

Logan does the exact same thing.

He picks up the remote, points it at the TV and puts the TiVo on.

He loves the TiVo.

The other day he also sent someone a text message using my cell phone.

I think that was an accident though.

Or maybe the Learning Puppy has been teaching him things. Chat Icon

Leah did this too!! We found it was more of a action/reaction sort of learning. It was that she would hit a button and the channel would change. She had no clue what she was doing, but something would happen when she did it, so she would do it again...and again...and again Chat Icon

DS is 10.5 months and has done that.
I think it's so funny, how they copy things they see.

Lily does it as well. She LOVES the remote. It's like an obsession for her. And we have to take the batteries out because she LOVES the volume button, so we wind up with a really really loud tv. The remote lights up when she changes a channel, so that's how it all started...now she likes to see the channels change.

EXACTLY the same for us. She started loving how the big O button on the iO remote lit up. Now she knows that you have point the remote towards the TV to get it to "do something".
