Does anyone else's 1 year old not sit still for a minute???
Sometimes I think this kid has ADHD because he cannot sit still at all.
He learn how to walk around 3 weeks ago (he turns 1 on Tuesday) and if I put him on the floor to play, 5 mins later he is up and walking around. Doesnt he get tired of just walking around aimlessly.
Is this normal??? Maybe since the walking is still fairly new he feels the need to do it all the time.
Just wondering if other 1 year olds are like this because my DD was never like this.

my ds is like this, now he is 19 months and still the same. i don't understand why he never just sits down?! even if he is watching something on TV he stands around pacing, it's so strange! I'm such a couch potato so I don't get it!

My 15 month old never sits still. She is extremely curious about her surroundings. I took her to a music class last week and she was walking around, trying to play all the instruments. I like that she's busy and interested in everything around her. She plays non-stop all day, really only sitting down to eat her meals. She flips through books, plays with her toys, dolls, etc. She is constantly moving! :)
I would say it's completely normal!

My DS has been walking since 8.5-9 months. I should be a size 2 with all the chasing I do. TOTALLY normal. This child is moving from the minute his feet hit the floor until he goes to bed. Its so annoying...

Totally normal...at least normal for my one yr old who just started walking and will NOT sit still for a second

Story of my life with Bella  Ever since she was a baby...NEVER sat still.
Funny thing, quite a few people, random people as well, told me it was a sign of intelligence

DD is almost 7 months, she has been crawling for 2 weeks, she is all o ver the house. The past few days she started pulling herself up to a standing position and crusing. She does not sit still already, even in the bath tub she crawls back and forth. I am scared she is going to be a handful when she is actually able to walk.
