Does anyone ever send their resumes via snail mail anymore?

Just wondering since my sister does....anyone else? Do you think it makes you stand out and get the job or at least an interview?

I think it depends on where you see the job. If you see it in the newspaper and there's no email to send it to, you will of course send it snail mail or fax.

Most employees nowadays like to get it via email, especially for computer related positions. That way they can have a virutal and hard copy and search for keywords or even put the resume in their company's database!

I haven't send snail mail since I came out of college 10 years ago!

I would only use it if the job ad specifically said so, otherwise as a backup submittal in addition to a fax or emailed/online resume.

I have b/c some ads request them that way.

I send them thru regular mail if they request a demo reel or anything, but that's it.

Some are fax, some email, and some they have an application so I send my resume with that.
