Does anyone feel like it's a longer weekend when the holiday is Fri. as opposed to Mon.?
For some reason it felt like forever until today whereas when the holiday is on Mon. Tuesday comes along too quickly.

I was off thursday and friday
I was actually BORED - mainly b/c of the weather - but it was such a nice long weekend

I agree when it's a holiday weekend it does feel longer, But i'm on vacation now for 2 weeks so it has been extended, But i'll feel different on the 22nd when i have to go back to work.

I think its because we celebrated the holiday on friday and we're so used to going back to work the next day, and when I didn't have to and had two days off after instead it seemed longer.....does that make any sense, lol

I feel the opposite. I think it went quicker b/c the "extra" day off was over right away. I would much rather a monday off.

makes perfect sense - and i 100% agree.
i was saying to DH that they should really move all of the monday holidays to fridays instead! (labor day, memorial day, columbus day, etc.)
it would give people the ability to celebrate the holiday on friday and still have the weekend to recover. how can you fully enjoy those monday holidays when you know in the back of your mind that you have work the next day

It did feel alot longer but I prefer Friday instead of Monday for some reason.
