Does anyone feel stuck in a fashion rut?
Does anyone feel like they just dont know what to wear? I guess I say that because I feel kind of style/identity lost...
DS will be 2 and I feel like I just dont know how to dress and still be practical ...
I have several extra pounds which isnt helping.. but still
I'm about to be 34, short and plus size LOL and I dont feel "old" - whats appropriate to wear and still be fashionable...? I need a new bag - no clue what to get thats practical but functional ... like things like that...

I used to love Coldwater Creek. I am sad that they are gone. I wear clothes from lord and Taylor , macys , and lands end.

Re: Does anyone feel stuck in a fashion rut?
I write an on-again off-again (mostly) fashion blog, if you're interested in perusing :) I'm 36 and always wondering what I should wear... I have lots of archives on the site.

Does anyone feel stuck in a fashion rut?
Yes! I look so plain and boring most days. My coworkers who are the same age as me are all dressed up and I feel like a slob next to them! I have been going through some tough times the last month or so and I just said eff it, I am treating myself to new clothes. I had the best luck at Old Navy, Ny&Co (love their skinny jeans) and shockingly Payless! haha. I have very difficult feet and just about every shoe I buy kills me no matter how much they cost. I actually had good luck finding cute and comfortable boots there for only $30.

Re: Does anyone feel stuck in a fashion rut?
I was going to post something similar!! I've honestly been feeling like sh!t about myself lately. I'm busy with my DD, work, what little time remains is housework, etc. I really need to be better about taking care of myself.
I find I buy more quantity over quality. Kittyshops just posted that great capsule wardrobe article and while I'm not ready to pare down my wardrobe that much, I plan on getting ridding of quite a bit and really evaluating what I need/want.

Re: Does anyone feel stuck in a fashion rut?
I was really skeptical but I'm glad I decided to get talked into doing Stitch Fix.
I just got two great shirts last month and a nice pair of jeans this month.
I also like taking the time to really sort through the racks at Marshall's.
In the past I also used to just hit up Old Navy because it was so cheap, and never ended up wearing half of it.
I also have found brands that I like in terms of nice work pants (mostly express which Marshall's also sells) and keep those neutral and then just change up my tops and sweaters.

Does anyone feel stuck in a fashion rut?
My work wardrobe is horrible. I gravitate toward Old Navy and Loft but nothing has been really wowing me. My biggest struggle is nice shirts. I have a bazillion dresses and only a couple of nice tops.
