How much is it? Is it worth it?
Can they store documents?
This might be a fantastic alternative to lugging a laptop

Re: Does anyone have a blackberry (that you pay for, not through work)
I have a blackberry and I pay for it and I LOVE IT and dont know what I did before I had it!
I am an email, internet freak (as you can tell with my constant postings on here) so I use it for that. It has quick internet access.....
I have the unlimited plan. I forget the exact amount per month for unlimited but it might be 30-40 dollars. I use Cingular Wireless. I have unlimited data/email and I have a text message plan for 9.99/month that allows me 1000 texts per month - texts are different from emails.
I have several email accounts and they all go to my blackberry and it's fairly quick.
I also use it as my calendar, address book - it can download documents and pictures. It can store documents and pictures....
FM me if you have any more questions.
MAKE SURE YOU GET A BLACKBERRY THAT HAS EACH LETTER ON IT'S OWN KEY THOUGH! This is very important - you will regret it if you get one that has characters that share a button -

Re: Does anyone have a blackberry (that you pay for, not through work)
DH purchased the 7130c off of Ebay w/no problems. He paid $250 for it...BNIB. He LOVES it! Especially b/c of the scroll wheel on the side (which I believe is exclusive to Blackberry).
I don't think he regularly stores documents on it, but he uses it a lot for emails when he's traveling.
ETA: DH's doesn't have a standard keyboard, but the QWERTY-style, which he just happens to prefer from prior years of use.
