Does anyone have a Macbook?
do you like it? I would like to get one, however, I've read many reviews that says it has some problems with automatic shutdown, heating up too quickly and discoloration of the keyboard area.....
to buy or not to buy?

I have the Black one. I love it!!!! I haven't heard any bad reviews. I will never buy another pc again.

I just got the 20GHZ mac book-- the white one.
I have had macs for years-- started with the clamshell in Tangerine of course, then I had the small white ibook- which just died-- and now my new macbook. I love the screen-- I feel like my computer is now like HDTV. During set up I was totally freaked out with the built in camera when I saw my mug on the screen- I was like what the hell is going on here!

 I was the same way. Have you messed with Photo Booth yet? I love messing with pictures.

I have turned it on-- but I will say that I sit on the couch with my lap top either on my lap or on the coffee table and I will say it's NOT a very good angle!
I really have had it for less than week-- what have you done with the photo booth-- all I have done was freak DH out with it- the way I was during set up.

well right now I am waiting for the contents of my old HD from TekServe-- so, once I get all that stuff I will play around a bit more with iphoto and iweb and stuff like that. Looking forward to it.
