Does anyone have a Vita Mixer???
I'm on the fence about getting one, but they are just so much $$$$. Do you find it's worth it?

I personally don't own one, but two of my coworkers do and they love them. I think it's cool that it juices and blends, but I'm on the fence myself to get one because they're so expensive.

My MIL has it and makes really good soups and smoothies with it. I was just watching it on QVC the other night and was tempted but its so expensive! I think its worth it.

I really wanted to get it to make healthy smoothies. I saw a demonstration at Whole Foods last year and couldn't believe the healthy smoothies you can make that actually taste good. 2 of my kids won't eat vegetables and I think I could really camouflage them in there...
Plus I'm thinking it could make really killer frozen drinks in the summer.

My coworker has one and raves about it often. I can't justify the money considering I make super yummy healthy smoothies daily for me and ds from my regular oster blender.

Re: Does anyone have a Vita Mixer???
My mom has one and she loves it, but it's really tall so it won't fit under her cabinets when it's on the counter. She got me the Blend Tech for Christmas, which fits perfectly under my cabinets and it is as good as the Vita Mix. I think the Vita Mix will last longer though because it's all manual. The Blend Tech has electronic controls instead of a switch. They are both awesome though.

I love mine - don't use it every day, but often. The kids love smoothies, and i make chocolate "ice cream" with just frozen bananas and chocolate syrup.
I ordered mine from QVC because they sell a model that fits under the kitchen cabinets.

MY BIL and SIL have one an duse it every day. If you buy lots of veggies and fruits its worth it. Soups(no need to heat the blender is so fast it heats for you!) smoothies, ice cream etc

Re: Does anyone have a Vita Mixer???
We had one growing up, I am not sure if my mother has it anymore. My mother, who was very faddy with food, went through every diet in the book and she used to grind her own flour in it. It was the 70's though!

I have it and I really like it. I used it daily for protein shakes but it also helps save me money when grinding cheese for pasta.
