Does anyone have a website to Cliff's Tattoo in Centereach? (Or any other recs?)
I did searches on here for places that people have gone for tattoos....and 2 that came up a lot were House of Colour in Bay Shore and Cliff's Tattoo in Centereach. I found the House of Colour website--but wasn't sure if Cliff's has one either?
Does anyone know if they do? Right now I'm narrowing down my choices between the following:
Lone Wolf Tattoo in Bellmore
House of Colour
Cliff's
Artful Ink in Bohemia
btw--this will be my first one.

I've actually been going to Ink Alternative for the last 7 years...I've gotten all my ink and 13 piercings there. It's an all girl studio and they are some of the coolest girls I've ever met. Ink Alternative
ETA: I've been using Stacy for my work, here is a link to one of my tat's she hand drew for me... Fairy
She's also in the process of doing a full back piece for me-I wish i had pics.

Thanks!!! i was googling and going to ask.com and nothing was coming up for cliffs!
i'm loooking at the website you sent also---and that fairy looks very cool. i love the colors.

Thanks...I'll add them to my list.
Researching places is quite a daunting task....especially considering how long I've been wanting one but haven't had the guts to get one.

It is challenging but the smart way to go. You need to be absolutely sure this is where you want to go; what you're gettin gis permanent!

Yup--my thoughts exactly. I know what I want--i just gotta find the right person to do it.
DH fears that I've been waiting forever--and then I'm gonna get more and more once I do it once.

My sister and I just got another one at House of Colour in Bay Shore... I highly recommend them! My DH is going next week too.

pete says he wants one too--but he can't decide what he wants to get. I don't want to rush him into something he won't like---BUT i really would love for us to get them together. (not matching of course)
my sister might be going with me to get a 2nd one when i get my 1st.

I don't have any tatoos myself, but I had a friend who was a tatoo artist in Bay Shore and he would only go to Lotus. I guess that doesn't say much for his shop ... I don't know if it's even still open.

1 when i was 18 (back of right hip) - went locally, wouldn't recommend.
added to it when i was 19 or 20 - some place in Ithaca
got another in feb (between my shoulder blades) = Rob @ House of Colour
got another on wednesday (left foot) = Vinny @ House of Colour
Rich is getting a cross/rosary with Vinny @ House of Colour next Friday.

very cool. i remember the one in february you got on your back...very cool piece

not at all - it hurt the least out of every one i have.
it tickled a bit as he got closer to my toes and it made me want to move it, almost like a reflex. but i didn't, and it was fine!
he told me the wrist was the most painful spot!

I got a tattoo on my right foot 2 weeks ago.
Umm.. it HURT.. and I am usually REALLY good with pain
I usually overestimate how bad pain will be..( I don't have any other tattoos but with piercings I've gotten anhd what not) but I definitely low balled this one 
It wasn't unbearable..but I was counting down until it was over, and it was no "tickle"

Oh.. I want to add.. I kind of have a boney foot with ( not bones sticking out, just not much cushion on top at all)
