Does anyone have an idea of how much this might cost me? (electrician related)
Hi!
We have a small room on our 2nd floor (attic is right above) that has a light on the ceiling that must be turned on by pulling a string. There is no light switch there.
How much do you think it would cost me to have an electrician add a switch to this room? I think the job is made easier by the fact that the attic is right above so they just need to run the wires down the wall to where the switch will be, there is already power in that room.
Any idea? Just need a ballpark so I can decide if I should try and have this done.

DH said it should run you about $250-300 for the switch, as long as it's an easy 1-2-3 job.

do you know anyone who is handy with electrcic? because that really isnt a big job and you could save some money. probably even look online on how to do it.
