Does anyone have experience with these Chevy/GMC dealers?
I'm in Huntington and unfortunately all the dealers here have closed. We are pretty sure that we want a Suburban, but are open to looking.
Chevy:
Atlantic - Bay Shore
Robert - Hicksville
North Shore - St James
Arnold - W Babylon (after all the Saab dealers closed, we started bringing our Saab here for repairs - no complaints with service dept, but they got rid of Saab and they are pretty far)
GMC:
Smithtown GMC
Sun GMC - Wantagh

I bought my Pontiac from Arnold and loved them.
Very nice, not high pressure.
They still send me Xmas cards!

My parents always lease GMC trucks at Sun GMC. They deal with Scott Rosenthal and would recommend him.

We bring my Tahoe to North Shore/Smithtown Chevy for oil changes and warranty service. Dh is happy with their customer service.

I am also in Huntington so I know what you are going thru.
I got my chevy from Sun Chevy in Bohemia. I had nothing but great experiences there.
Atlantic in Bayshore are a bunch of BS'ers. They are total scammers so dont waste your time.
The man at Arnold was nice but their prices were much higher.
Sun GMC in Wantagh was good too but I went with the Chevy over the GMC for pricing reasons.
Smithtown GMC was very uptight from the minute we walked into the door. They acted like they were selling cars priced at 200K. Not my style of sales. The sales guy was terrible at returning calls too.

DO NOT waste your time and go to Atlantic they are scammers.... We bought our Suburban in May this year from East Hills Chevy in Douglaston. I know thats a drive for you but they were great to work with and we got a great deal on our truck...FM me if you want the number of who we dealt with....

I just bought an Buick Enclave in October. I went to the Buick/GMC delaer in Wantagh - assuming that is the same on on your list. The sales guy we used was real nice, not pushy at all, went staright to the go to price but in the end didn't close the deal. He didn't have the 1st choice of color and wouldn't come down the couple hundred dollars it cost to get the 2nd choice color (we didn't want to pay the extra money to have our 2nd choice). Suprisingly he never even followed up with us either. We found the car we wanted and bought it in Rockville Center - Karp and had a good enough experience there.

Love Arnold Chevy! Would not recommend Altantic.... had an awful experience w/them trying to scam me out of $600 saying that work was not covered under warranty when it actually was!!
ETA: for GMC Van Buren in Garden City is great too!
