Does anyone have Fibromyalgia?
I am trying to give hope to one of my friends. She has been having muscle aches all over her body and this includes by her heart. It is pointing to Fibromyalgia. Does anyone suffer from this and is currently pregnant or know anyone who has. She is so wanting a baby and it broke my heart when I was trying to comfort her yesterday and she just kept emialing how much she wanted a baby.

One of my friends was mis-diagnosed with this - it actually wound up being Hodgkin's Disease and she survived. She has a few kids and all are doing well.

My SIL has it. She has a baby girl. Her symptoms actually were better while she was pregnant.

I had this in my early 20s, it was just making an appearance in the medical world then. It eventually passed after I started walking a few miles a day, some light stretching and an excellent multivitamin/antioxidant by Lifeguard. You can google it, it really seemed to help! Good luck to your friend!

They have her on anti-depressents and shes in bed barely able to move. I hope its something they can fix-she really would be a great mommy.

I was seeing a rheumatologist at the time who gave me drugs that made me feel worse so I told him to go scratch. Tell her, as debilitated as she may feel, she needs to move around. I swear, it will help. Tell her to re-evaluate her diet also.
