Does anyone have horrible headaches?
My headaches have been so bad the past few days....I don't know what to do. I am 13 weeks pregnant. It could be because of the heat, but I don't know. I called my doctor yesterday, and she said to take tylenol, but it isn't working. Any suggestions?

I had them in my first trimester alot. I usually took tylenol and they went away. Try laying down with a cold washcloth on your forehead. I did that sometimes if I didn't want to take the tylenol.

I also had them alot in my first trimester. Usually if I drank LOTS of water that would help...if not I'd take Tylenol and that would do the job.

I know this sounds crazy but they make a product called Head on. It's a stick that you rub on your forehead. My doctor said it was fine to use and it really helps with my migraines.

It does sound crazy, but my sister swears by it. She is not pregnant but gets bad headaches. She said Head On is the only thing that works.

it may be your vitamins!! i had to have mine switched and they have been gone since i have!! they really are horrible though - i was constantly getting them in my eyes

Same thing here. Remember, as soon as the headache starts, take a tyelenol, don't wait for it to get bad!

I got them a lot in my second trimester..the heat may have a big factor..stay cool and drink lots of water

I had them a lot early in my second trimester and I still get them now. My ob told me to take tylenol and it wasn't working. (I get migraines) I told her this and she gave me a prescription for something safe but stronger. I haven't taken yet but it helps to know I have another option. Tell you OB that the tylenol isn't working.

I had horrible headache Sunday night and all day Monday. It was so bad my neck, ears and eyes hurt. I think it was from the heat! I'm only 12 weeks.
I made sure to drink lots of water, stay in the AC and layed down as much as possible with a cool rag on my head and dim lighting.

Thanks for the advice girls! I feel better today, so that's a good sign! I will try all of your techniques when I get my next headache. thanks!

I had a terrible headache Mon-Tues. I finally just layed down, took tylenol and drank a ton of water and it went away.
