Does anyone have tendonitis?
Where do you have it and how do you treat it? Can it go away if you treat it properly?
How long did it take to get better?

My FH has it in his leg. He takes aleve when the pain gets really bad. The doctor told him there is nothing he can really do for it. My friend who is an acupuncturist says that acupuncture can get rid of it, but FH hasn't tried that yet.

on my hips, like the outside of my legs...it never goes away...but a physical therapist does wonders when it acts up.

I was disagnosed with tendonitis in my foot a few years ago. It took a few weeks and then it went away. I just have to be careful with what I do. The only thing that I noticed that makes it really bad is running long distances and step class.

you can take motrin or advil to reduce the pain and inflammation. i would also advise that you see an orthopedic surgeon. once you have tendonitis, you always have it but there are ways to treat it. cortisone shots worked for me.

In my right wrist. My cousin is a PT and she informally diagnosed me, told me to wear the brace, did a little PT, and told me what kind of exercises I have to do to help it.

did you check your FM? i had the SAME problem. the brace and exercises did NOTHING for me. cortisone was my savior.
does it hurt to pull your thumb back and rotate it? can you make an L w/ your thumb and index finger?
mine was SO bad it got to the point that i was unable to do these exercises w/o using my other hand.

Yes to all of that... I can do the rotation and the L thing but it hurts alot. I don't want it to get to that point.
But, it mostly has to do with the way I pick up the baby. Then mousing & typing at work aggravated the heck out of it.
