Does anyone have the "leapster tag junior" thingy?

I am thinking of getting this for miki for x-mas, it says it is good for ages 2-4, she will be almost 3 at x-mas time

wondering if she will like this or is it too young for her

We're getting it for DD too. BRU has the books Buy 2/Get 1 Free right now, FYI Chat Icon They're $11 each normally.

IMO, some of the books seem too young for my DD. She already knows all her shapes, numbers, opposites and colors, so I'm not getting her those books. We got books that focused more on reading and word comprehension.

Not sure about the tag junior but, DS just turned two and has been using the regular tag reader since Christmas. He loves it!

This is one of DSs "gifts" from the baby when we are in the hospital next week. I figured that we could give this the first day, and then a book the next day. They are on sale at TRU today.

I bought it for DD when she was 2 1/2 and she seemed too old for it. It's pretty bulky she couldn't see what words and letters she was putting the wand over, so I kind of felt like it was pointless. She ditched it in her toy bin and I bought her the regular Tag and she loves it and uses it all the time. I feel it also has a better book choice as well. HTH!
