Does anyone have the Motorola Digital Video Baby Monitor with Color LCD Screen? I used to have the old summer infant best view....

I am going to have DS#2 soon and I want a monitor on both DCs

I had the extra camera for the best view summer infant (nice LIFer gave it to me) but the head unit is going and we are having issues with it skipping...etc

I was looking into the

3.5 screen

It scans both rooms every 12 secs. and has room temp monitor

Just wanted to know if anyone has experience with it

Hate it? Love it?

I just bought a motorola, not the one you are talking about, the least expensive one with the small viewing window and it is great!! It doesn't make that annoying buzz all night like all the other cameras, it is quiet until it hears something from the babies room then it activates the sound. It is a little difficult to understand the directions but once you set it up its great. This is my 3rd monitor and I have had a summer one before that constantly made noise that I had to keep it off.

We have that one-- we got it a little early and swapped out our old Summer one from Sasha's room to use before Jonah arrived.. now that we have both going, the every 12 seconds isn't a big deal. I usually keep it on the baby and switch off manually to see DD since if she wakes, she doesn't need the assistance a newborn does, and we'd hear her w/o the monitor.

My two complaints are- the zoom is just a setting, and it gets so close that the picture is a liitle blurry- obv depends where your camera is though. And two-- Sash's camera lost signal during nap for no reason- i snuck in and unplugged for a sec and then it was fine, but luckily it was during nap. And then also, the parent component froze while on-- couldn't turn off/on, press any buttons. DH popped battery out and was fine- but again this happened when we were awake vs sleeping. if we were sleeping, we may not have been able to hear the kids.

All in all- very happy though.

I have it and love it! We too had the best view and that crapped out on us. I didn't want to go with Summer again. We got this one and no regrets!

We have it. But only one camera. I love it. I can move the camera and see her wherever she goes. ( she moves around crib a lot). The zoom moves in very close so if your camera is too close to DC you will basically see one nostril! Lol. Ours is up pretty high so when I zoom I see her face.
I don't use the music feature or the microphone.
Not sure how accurate the temperature gauge is. I read reviews that it was off a few degrees.
Great picture. And great sound.
So far no complaints.
Had the summer and it lasted me a little over 2.5 years.
