Does anyone have the phone # to the NSUH LAB?
Figures, I get AF and they are CLOSED. And I cant wait till Monday, she wanted me in day 1 or 2 and that would be day 4 
eta- I know the lab has late day hours and I have called before, and I lost the number.
ETA- I found the number and no one answered.

dont freak out. worst case scenario you can just show up in the morning (about 8:30) and tell them you are cd3 but couldnt get through to make an appointment.

I have a 9:30 Post op appointment at the surgeon. So I will start trying to call them when I leave. I guess worst case, I can go on Monday, but I only get AF for 3 days and they wanted me to start the meds on day 3-4 depending on the cysts. Im worrying over nothing I think..I think its been too long since i had something to worry over...LOL LOL LOL

If you need to get in touch with them to be monitored for your IUI, yes, I would say its an IF emergency!!

Ok, I will try tommorow to keep calling, I KNOW they are in tommorow for IUIS and such so hopefully someone answers the phone. I know they normally have the phones manned when I have been there for the IUI.

The lady at the lab is offically an idiot.
I call the lab # , knowing they are open and I explain to her, I need to know when to start the meds, and Dr. Chu said come in no later then CD2 and thats today.
So she asks me what meds, I tell her and she says for an IVF cycle, I said no..for IUI...and she said WHY? Umm...why? What the hell you asking me for...I dont know WHY ....just give me a damn appointment. She then says, WHY ARE YOU CALLING AGAIN?
I wanted to say in response, WHY are YOU answering the phone....LOL
Anyway, I got no where, she said she will have a nurse call me back.
I love it there, dont get me wrong, but if any of you have seen her ( the receptionist at the lab)...shes too many cards short of a full deck!

did you get the lab for the fertility center of for the whole hospital? My understanding is the people who draw our bloods come from the hospital lab everyday just for a couple hours. On the weekends it is actually the nurse who draws your blood. There is only a nurse and MD there on the weekends.

No I spoke to the Lady at the andrology lab acorss the hall from the office. I have met her a few times when we went for our weekend IUI's. She works there. What they sometimes do ( what I witnessed anyway) was after the "drop offs" ...shes the one who goes across the hall and then calls the people into the room. Shes a half wit. Very nice , just ODD. DH laughs when he sees her cause he thinks shes so nuts.
ANYWAY......I have an appointment for Monday. When I told her that Dr. chu said no later then day 2 , she said, well I just told you Monday..um...OK. So then She said Im gonna have to try to fit you in. And At this point I had it with her, and said "well please dont act like your DOING ME A FAVOR"...Im simply telling you what the Dr. told ME.
UGH....I hate Dr's offices sometimes!

ahhh, its no big deal, I think with AF here, Im making things into more then they are ya know? And so anxious to get back into the swing of things after 8-10 weeks off.
