Does anyone have the SONY DCR-DVD92 Handycam?
I just purchased it, but I just found out it doesn't connect to the computer, I'm wondering if anyone has any feedback on this camera- I might be exchanging/returning it.

I have it. We bought it because we knew it wouldn't become obsolete in quite a while (well, we hope anyway!) We knew it didn't connect to the computer when we bought it, so that wasn't an issue for us. I like it. I guess my only issue is that in low light the video doesn't come out great; it's pretty grainy. Also, and I think this is the case with all DVD recorders, you only get 30 min per DVD. Otherwise, I have no complaints, it's actually really light and easy to use!

Ok Thanks! I guess the whole computer thing isn't a huge deal for us, I just didn't really do my homework before I purchased it, and I was anxious for some feedback.

Re: Does anyone have the SONY DCR-DVD92 Handycam?
I got one as a gift and I really love it. Not hooking it up to the computer isn't really an issue if you have a DVD-RW drive- you just insert it in and make as many copies as you like. My only frustration and I probably need a more advanced software program is that I want to put 3 or 4 of the 30 minute dvd's onto one and it formatts the DVD before I can. Anyone know how I could do that?
