Does anyone know...
how long it takes to get a new passport if you put a rush on it??

well you can put a real rush on it (and get it in like 2-3 days) but it's a few hundred bucks I think...maybe $250 or so?

my boss rushed his passport and it still took 3-4 weeks 
He paid nearly $400 when all was said and done.

I rushed mine the 2nd week in april and just got it yesterday!  There were no problems or anything...they said they guarantee nothing!!

I think it will take from 7 business days to 14.
You can always go in person and bring your airline ticket and get it the same day.
I believe that's only if you're traveling within two weeks of needing the passport

If you choose to "expedite" you pay an additional 60 bucks or so-- on top of the 67 bucks for the new passport.
I expedited mine- and got it in a week-- you SHOULD get it within 4 weeks normally.

I paid a service to do it for our last trip. We got it in a 3 day turn around.
We used passportsandvisas.com
It cost $350 or so for both on top of the regular passport fees..we had no choice.

DH did the super expedited last summer and it got here in 1 1/2 weeks. Helpful hint... lie about your travel date!

Thanks ladies for your responses! I misplaced our passports while we moved and I began to freak out since we are leaving in 3 weeks. I said some prayers though and did lots of searching and we found them last night.
