Does anyone know about contacting a juvenile detention center in Riverhead?

I'm not sure where to look to find information -- if you wanted to find out if someone was in a detention center out in Riverhead, and they are underage so I assume it has to be a juvenile center....can you just call and find out about someone? any help would be much appreciated.

would it be a recent arrest? you should start with the police station- they would be there first getting processed- then court

They would have had to be processed first. Call Suffolk County JAB - the number is 631-852-6194

After a bunch of calls to different places...finally foud out that Suffolk doesn't have a juvi detention center in Riverhead....and that the teen was arrested in Nassau and transferred to a group home out east in Suffolk, into the custody of CPS.
