Go to Ureach.com. They are cheap, maybe $20 a month. I dont remeber what we paid.

Call your phone company.

The cheapest way is to have it ring on the same line as your regular phone.

If you need a separate line, it's more money.

Sorry the prices I have date back 6 years ago, when my friend was adopting a baby.

you can do it through whatever company provides your phone service. if you want a specific number, you may have have to find someone who "owns" it and then buy it back from them or arrange for call forwarding. In my industry, there are companies that own some desirable numbers and I can join and be their local member for my county and all the calls from here would be routed to me. That was pricey but having my own 800 number through the phone company really isn't. I decided not to do either, as I already get too many calls from people who are just fishing for information. prices depend on whether you want the number to work only locally or nationally, etc.
