Does anyone know of a dog in need of a home?
We are looking to adopt a smallish dog- up to 20 lbs. Should be good with kids and another dog.
I have been checking local shelters, figured it couldn't hurt to ask here.

Have you checked Sav-A-Pet in Port Jeff
or Brookhaven Animal Shelter?

We got our puppy from Fur Babies - they typically have dogs of all sizes! Check them out on facebook :)

Try friends of Freddie rescue, second chance rescue NYC dogs (they just posted a small dog on their Facebook page), north shore animal league just took in a bunch of puppy mill dogs of all sizes,
