Does anyone know of a great restaurant...
In NYC, specifically VERY close to the Nederlander Theatre (41st between 7th & 8th)?
OR between the theatre and Penn?
I know restaurant row is a few blocks up from the theatre, but we'd rather stay between those 2 places.
Looking for something new - I feel like I've exhausted all the times square options, restaurant row, etc.
We don't like fish/japanese/indian foods.
Thanks!
eta: this is for tomorrow, either for lunch (pre 3pm show) OR dinner (after 3pm show), depending on the place, i guess.

I like Thalia on 49th and 8th....lots of food choices, cool atmosphere.

I haven't tried it yet but people have recommended the Firebird restaurant to me.
It's Russian - 46th between 8th and 9th.

Kean's Steakhouse on 36th Street - but it's between 5th & 6th which is slightly out of your way.
There's that steakhouse right in the garden Nick and Stef or something like that.

i love heartland brewery, it's on the ground floor of the empire state building, within walking distance of penn station. great food!
