Does anyone know of a pediatric dentist who works well with ASD kids?
Looking for a pediatric dentist who works well, if not specializes in working with ASD kids. Does anyone know of a great one?

I cant speak directly for the practice since Ive never been there, but I passed "That Broadway Smile" on Broadway in Massapequa today and a huge sign outside said "we welcome children on the spectrum."
Maybe some more moms here have personal experience there.

I've never used them, but it looks like Cohen (LIJ) has a pediatric dental clinic.
Maybe Stony Brook as well. Professionally, I work with adults with a wide variety of disabilities and many do best in their setting.

Does anyone know of a pediatric dentist who works well with ASD kids?
We have tried several pediatric practices. None worked out. We go to Stony Brook dental school, and they are great. They take insurance as well. The other practices wanted to put my son under sedation for fillings. Something that is like $1,000 for a half hour. SB was able to get it done without.
