Does anyone know of any good books to learn the process?
When you first started looking at houses or wanted to buy one..did you read any books about it? I am CLUELESS about the entire process..I mean I dont even know what to ask or look for when we go to open houses or appointments.
Thats what I get for growing up in an apartment in Queens I guess..although I gotta admit, I loved it!
But if anyone can recommend any good books, I would grately appreciate it. Thanks!

I've always been a fan of the Dummies books- and when we were looking we bought Home Buying for Dummies. I found it to be pretty clear, and it explained a lot of the terms I'd heard of but didn't understand.
DH and I spent a decent amount of time in Barnes and Noble with a pile of similar books on homebuying, and the Dummies book seemed the best for us.

my husband and I each read a book and compared. He read Home buying for dummies and I read Your first home which I found interesting. We also ran our credit report on myannualcreditreport.com to make sure that there wasn't anything on there that we didn't already know abut.
