Does anyone know or has anyone gone to a nutritionist?

I am finally paying for years of poor eating habits. My blood sugar has been way low and my doctor wants me to add a lot more protein to my diet (I'm a carb junky). This may sound ridiculous, but I really don't even know how to eat - I'm always just grabbing and going - and usually not the healthiest stuff.

Does anyone know any nutritionists in Suffolk? I really need someone to map out a healthy diet for me.

I was referred by my GP and neurologist to see a nutritionist - they work hand and hand to control a number of my issues: migraines (only recently recm'd by my neurologist) and for controlling my crohn's disease....

Unfortunately, my nutritionist is here in NYC (Upper West Side.)

I would recm'd asking your doctor for a referral, and it may be covered under your insurance.

I have gone to see two different ones-- but they are not located anywhere near you.
