Does anyone know when St. Rocco's Festival in Oyster Bay is this year?

I thought I saw a sign once that said end of June but I can't remember. I also know at one point there were talks of canceling it. Any ideas?

I just asked DH this last night because it was this weekend last year when we went and it was soooo empty. We haven't seen anything in the Church Bulletin either. Aside from last year, it was always the weekend after the 4th of july. But I'm going to guess they did away with it. We haven't seen any signs or notices for it!

My Mom works for the TOB so I asked her because I know she does some of the permits every year....she said....

There will be no St. Rocco’s this year. The vendors decided they didn’t make enough money, so the church also lost out. They said it wasn’t worth them doing it this year. Maybe next year.

So sad. I used to love going there although last year, it was so empty.

I love to go there - it's one of the last fun feasts around.

Yes - I heard that they aren't doing it either. I was so upset, I have been going to that feast since I was born!

Wow DH and I went every year since 1995! It was one of our 1st dates!

We got married at St. Doms and had to pick a day around the feast I loved pining my dollar to the statue and saying a prayer, one of which was for so I am really sad about this.

It was a good feast, too. The food rocked and it was a nice family crowed
