Does anyone know...RE: a fall apple festival
I think its waay north in Nassau somewhere, maybe in a park? I was there years ago and don't remember the name of it or where it was exactly...I just remember driving north! They had crafts and TONS of all different kinds of apples and stands where you can get cider, apple pie, etc. Does anyone know what I'm talking about??

That sounds like its it. Mill Neck is just as far north as you can get, besides Bayville.

The Mill Neck one has been going on for years...it's huge and for a great cause.

I'm thinking Millneck Manor (school for the deaf) Apple Fest. I love it there! It's usually the first or second weekend in October.

I love going to the apple festival - so much fun! I appreciate it so much more after teaching at a deaf school all summer.

I know there is one is suffolk county in Setauket as well although i dont know when it is. DH and I went one year and they had an apple pie contest and then they auctioned off the pies for charity. We bid on and won the 2nd place pie and it was yummy!
