I am tired of my recipe and would love a new one.

I make orzo. I'm not sure how you make it, but ...
I mix mine with beef bullion cubes and butter.

Re: Does anyone make orzo?
I brown a little onion, add chicken broth, water and tomato sauce or sometimes crushed tomatoes, seasonings and let it boil. Butter is not allowed so we use olive oil instead.

My BIL makes it with Parmegean cheese and fresh basil (chopped fine), and little bit of olive oil ... it's delicious!

This sounds good. Do you add water to it or just the dry cubes?

Re: Does anyone make orzo?
Orzo salad 3 cups orzo lg red pepper -diced 3-4 scallions-sliced 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved 1/3 c basil- julienned 1/3 cup olive oil 1/2 lb feta 1 cup black olives pitted & halved..
Toast orzo in a little olive oil in a pan. Then add to 4/-5 cups of boiling water seasoned w/salt. Cook orzo for about 10-12 minutes. Drain w/cold water and put on a towel to absorb water. Put into a bowl.
On the side, mix peppers, scallions, tomato, basil, olive oil and salt & pepper..Add to orzo. Top w/feta and olives.

Just the cubes. They dissolve in the hot orzo!
