Does anyone need huge filing cabinets? They are free and I am desperate
*They are tan, four rows of drawers high, two wide.
*My office is in midtown Manhattan (east).
*They've been in a storage room, so they're dusty, I'm not gonna lie.
*They need to be out of here by Monday, April 30th.
*I cannot get them to you - you'd have to pick them up with a large van or truck.
*Oh - and they are totally, 100% free.
*This is all of the info that I have. If you need measurements, I can get them tomorrow morning.
I cannot donate them because every organization that picks up goods wants only a van full of stuff (Tools for Schools  ) or they already have 800 filing cabinets and don't want mine.
(We want not a dime, not a penny, not a farthing for these cabinets).
The powers that be do not want to go through Craigslist.
(Begging on CL would probably get me lots of propositioning, which I'm in no mood to handle, so I am begging someone here to please take them - please).
So - if you need some huge honking FREE cabinets and you can pick these big bad boys up, please FM me.
Did I say that they're huge - and free?

I'm sorry, there aren't enough details in your post. Are they free? 
I'll ask DH if his company needs... They are metal, I'm assuming? Do they lock & have keys?

They are metal and because of someone's 1998 screw up, I don't have keys for them.

Odd question---are the drawers sized for legal or letter size files? (could be both).
I don't think I could get them by Monday anyway.

They are for legal sized files though I think that there's some kind of contraption thing inside that makes the letter sized files fit, too.
I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that they're going in the garbage.

Snozmeister, DH says his company just bought a bunch about a month ago, wood dealies that match the furniture, so they don't need more.
But thanks, I hope someone else can pick them up and use them!
